The Encompass Group is partnering with a well-established commercial mechanical contractor to hire a Commercial HVAC / Mechanical Project Manager. Founded in 1953, the company has over 70 years of experience serving the DFW market and a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial mechanical projects throughout North Texas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager. Projects range from approximately $200K to $10M and include ground-up construction, renovations, and retrofits across healthcare, K-12, municipal, office, and industrial facilities.
What You'll Do
- Manage commercial HVAC/mechanical projects from turnover through closeout.
- Own project schedules, budgets, procurement, billing, forecasting, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, equipment, and long-lead materials.
- Monitor project costs, billing, forecasting, and project margins.
- Partner with field teams to keep projects on schedule and resolve issues as they arise.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of commercial HVAC/mechanical construction project management experience.
- Experience with ground-up commercial construction strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, including air-side and water-side systems.
- Experience with chillers, boilers, pumps, chilled water, heating hot water, and hydronic piping preferred.
