What You’ll Do
- Install and repair slate, tile, and metal roofing systems
- Work on historic buildings, churches, and high-end homes
- Perform detailed, precision-based roofing (not production installs)
- Learn specialty techniques most roofers never get exposure to
- Experience in steep slope roofing
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 4 points, pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork
- Willingness and ability to travel to different job sites
- Desire for a long-term career in historic roofing and preservation
