Specific Duties:
- Provide expeditious flow of mail throughout the organization and to outside organizations and other Government agencies.
- Receive in-coming mail (sort and distributes), and out-going mail records and registers insured checks, and certified mail.
- Complete associated Post Office forms. Assure that the appropriate labels affixed, return outgoing mail to the originator to resolve discrepancies.
- May be required at a minimum to drive documents to the Post Office or other designated postal drop-off.
- Answer gate phone and verify name and company of person requesting entry.
- Get shipments ready and build pallets.
- Knowledge of postal regulations.
- Valid Driver License
- Clean Criminal background (required to get fingerprinting)
- Lifting boxes and packages at the minimum of 25lbs to the maximum of 40.
