Door Technician Key Responsibilities
- Garage Door Service: Perform specialized garage door and opener repairs safely and efficiently.
- Commercial & Residential Service: Maintain, service, and repair standard entry doors as well as commercial storefront doors.
- Hardware Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, and repair locks, door closers, hinges, and associated security hardware.
- Field Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical failures on-site and implement creative, durable repair solutions.
- Customer Interaction: Represent our five-star brand by providing clear, professional service directly to clients.
Door Technician Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous hands-on work history with doors, door hardware, or general carpentry is required.
- Aptitude: Mechanically inclined, a fast learner, and possesses a strong working memory for technical procedures.
- Professional Demeanor: Calm, emotionally steady, and professional demeanor with clear English communication skills.
- Independence: Comfortable working energetically, efficiently, and safely without constant direct supervision.
- License & Habits: Must possess a valid driver’s license with safe driving habits and maintain a clean, drug-free lifestyle.
Door Technician Compensation & Growth
- Pay Range: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour, fully dependent on experience (DOE).
