What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at The Donut Run- St. George?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and make a variety of donuts according to established recipes and standards
- Mix and knead dough, cut shapes, and fry donuts in hot oil
- Decorate and glaze donuts with various toppings and icings
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area, equipment, and utensils
- Follow all safety and food handling procedures
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for donut production
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe quantities
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions and providing correct change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent quality in donut preparation
- Excellent time management skills to meet production targets and deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
