Village Baker is not your ordinary sandwich or pizza shop in Utah. We’re a food lovers’ haven! Our extensive menu of mouth-watering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert options makes us the perfect spot. We take pride in our real, tasty food made with unbleached and bromate-free flour, extra virgin olive oil and a top-rated cheese that we grate ourselves. Our bread is made from wheat milled on-site daily with no preservatives or added fats. We take the time to make all of our treats from scratch in our stores daily.
We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our early morning team. This shift is from 2am-10am. Our Bread Baker is responsible for baking all of our bread from scratch according to brand recipes while maintaining a safe kitchen. You will be responsible for following recipes exactly and working efficiently at a fast pace.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Make Bread dough including White, Wheat, Rye, Sourdough, French and more!
- Oversee all proofing and baking for bread loaves.
- Slice bread that is needed for the day.
- Prepare food neatly, accurately, and in a timely way.
- Clean as directed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standard.
- Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing food and cleaning up.
