We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated 2nd Shift Production Trainer to join our Manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and continuously improving training systems that support manufacturing and related groups. You will play a key role in developing training programs, guiding Training Assistants, and ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of training activities across the organization.
This position requires a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills, deep manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to lead complex training projects from concept through completion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training systems by identifying training needs, researching training options, and recommending the most effective solutions.
- Maintain and enhance quality systems by identifying, isolating, and resolving process issues using feedback and automated systems.
- Communicate personnel training and certification needs by assessing and reporting knowledge gaps in Manufacturing.
- Recommend solutions and improvement actions to close training gaps.
- Introduce and implement training system upgrades, focusing on improved technology and more efficient methods.
- Support business processes outside Manufacturing by promoting consistency between systems and offering innovative, cross-functional solutions.
- Troubleshoot automated systems, identify root causes, implement corrections, or coordinate with appropriate teams to resolve issues.
- Plan and organize complex project assignments involving substantial variety and scope.
- Develop, maintain, and track project schedules and milestones.
- Set priorities for project assignments and ensure timely delivery.
- Solve complex problems requiring interpretation of procedures, creativity, and leadership in evolving initiatives.
- Select methods and practices to resolve challenges using independent judgment and initiative.
- Lead projects from initial concept through full implementation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 years of related work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Extensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures, and manufacturing operations; strong understanding of related disciplines.
- Ability to interpret advanced data, present documentation/analysis, and resolve complex problems.
- Experience working in a regulated quality system environment.
- Ability to perform highly complex or specialized assignments independently.
- May design, develop, or modify area-specific processes or procedures.
- Strong judgment, initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to recommend and implement continuous improvements in functional processes.
Benefits: Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
