Dog Shuttle Driver
Part Time position available.
$18-$20 an hour depending on experience.
Weekday and weekend shifts needed.
The DOG is the Hudson Valley’s leading dog training company. For over 15 years, our staff of trainers, counselors, drivers and client service personnel have worked together to provide world-class service to an elite clientele.
We are currently seeking 1-2 Part Time Drivers.
Drivers are responsible for safely transporting dogs to and from our facility. This is a client facing position requiring a high degree of professionalism and strong customer service skills. Little or no absenteeism is very important. Successful candidates must be extremely dependable, operate vehicles safely, and be able to manage dogs of all sizes.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Safely transport client dogs to/from facilities using utmost care and attention.
- Work closely with Client Services department to provide outstanding customer service, assuring owners that their pets are comfortable and well cared-for.
- Keep vehicles clean; work with Fleet manager to keep vehicles in good working order.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be an excellent driver and able to handle/control groups of dogs of all sizes.
- Prior experience in a dog care facility is preferred, but not required.
- Attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Clean driving record and over 25 years of age.
This position reports to the Camp Manager. Opportunities for growth include all departments and positions. Training provided.
