What are the responsibilities and job description for the Museum & Visitor Experience Associate position at The Den of Marbletown?
The Den of Marbletown/Teddy Bear Museum Near Stone Ridge / Kingston (Route 209 & Tongore Rd) is looking for a warm, reliable person
to help host the museum on Saturdays, while one of the owners is temporarily away for classes.
Immediate need
- 6–8 consecutive Saturdays (likely starting January 17)
- 3–4 hour shifts between late morning and mid afternoon (exact hours TBD)
- You'll work alongside Steve, curator and co-owner
- Optional additional shift: Sundays, 11am–2pm
We're open to one person or a small team sharing coverage.
What you'll do
- Greet visitors and families
- Sell tickets and help in the gift shop (using Square POS - training provided)
- Make simple drinks
- Light cleaning and tidying
