About Us
We are a family-owned craft distillery specializing in German-style fruit brandies, aquavits, herbal liqueurs, and super-premium spirits. Our goal is to grow regional brand awareness across ten states, elevate digital visibility, and drive new customers to our cocktail lounge and tasting room. We produce award-winning spirits and have strong customer retention. We are expanding the top of our funnel and seeking a part-time contractor to help accelerate our marketing and SEO execution.
Role Overview
This part-time contractor supports content production, local SEO tasks, digital publishing, influencer coordination, and ongoing optimization across our website, social channels, and Google Business presence. You will collaborate directly with ownership and an external SEO agency. AI tools will be part of the workflow, and comfort using them is essential. This is an execution-focused role with clear weekly deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Publish and update website content, landing pages, and state-focused product availability pages
- Edit and refine AI-generated SEO articles, product descriptions, and local content
- Manage local listings, citations, directories, and Google Business updates
- Upload, format, and schedule blog posts, videos, and event pages
- Assist with micro-influencer outreach, communication, tracking, and scheduling
- Monitor website changes, broken links, and accuracy of store and lounge information
- Support state-specific campaigns with content formatting and light keyword integration
- Coordinate with our SEO agency to execute link-building, page updates, and audit recommendations
- Prepare monthly content performance summaries and publish updates across platforms
Qualifications
- Experience with digital marketing, SEO support, or content operations
- Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail
- Comfortable using AI tools for drafting and research
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (Squarespace or similar)
- Experience with local SEO, Google Business Profiles, and citation management
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage recurring weekly tasks
- Background in spirits, CPG, hospitality, or food/beverage is a plus (not required)
