Job Opportunity
A Lead Restaurant Kitchen Assistant supports and assists Chef Instructors and kitchen staff in culinary production for the CIA Restaurant.
Shift Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday, 2:00PM to 10:00pm
Main Responsibilities:
- Assists in culinary production and ensures the line is maintained throughout the day.
- Maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Provides high-quality customer service.
- Communicates with Chef Instructors and kitchen staff as necessary.
- Assists with inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Maintains confidentiality and works cohesively with other department members.
Prerequisites:
- Completed Restaurant Operations with a recommendation from a Restaurant Staff/Instructor or completed a minimum of one semester as a Restaurant Assistant.
Skill Development and Learning Outcomes:
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to operational excellence standards.
- Develop strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
Physical Demands:
The successful applicant must be able to work nights and weekends, lift up to 50 pounds, and withstand high ambient temperatures.
