About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a professional kitchen environment. As a Lead Kitchen Assistant, you will work closely with the APBC Chef and Savory Sous Chef to support the production kitchens.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of food for guests.
- Support the training of Kitchen Assistants.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly used and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with the Chef Instructors and kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Previous E&L Kitchen Assistant contract or completion of Caf Operations course.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Serve-safe certified or equivalent.
