A loving family in Brooklyn, NY (11207) is welcoming their first baby on July 27th, 2026, and seeking a compassionate Birth Doula who can create a peaceful, supportive atmosphere during labor, offering both emotional and physical guidance.
The ideal candidate is calm, knowledgeable, and reassuring under pressure, providing clear, thoughtful communication throughout the birth journey. They respect the family's birth preferences while remaining flexible should circumstances change, and work collaboratively with the medical team to support informed decision-making, comfort measures, positioning, pain management strategies, and breathing techniques. Their goal is to help the family feel confident, safe, and prepared before, during, and immediately after birth.
Equally important, the candidate is culturally aware and sensitive to the experiences of African American families within the healthcare system, helping the family feel understood, respected, and fully supported throughout this significant and deeply personal experience.

Must be vaccinated (TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu)
Compensation: depending on experience

Pay: Up to $110.00 per hour
