- Maintain food safety standards by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Support food service operations by efficiently plating dishes and assisting servers during busy periods.
- Follow safety standards in production to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and slicing tools, utilizing proper techniques such as slicing and portioning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred, especially in a culinary or kitchen role.
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques to prepare ingredients accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations.
- Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
