Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and efficient handling of orders and transactions. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and well cared for from the moment they arrive until their departure. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide menus, and answer any questions about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety protocols to advise guests confidently.
• Clear tables, bus stations as needed, and ensure sanitation standards are upheld throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, including setup and breakdown of service stations.
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail through effective time management.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a dynamic hospitality setting.
