Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with catering or banquet setups as needed.
- Ensure responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to alcohol regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere in nightclubs or hospitality venues while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly.
- Excellent customer service abilities to connect with diverse guests and foster repeat business.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Ability to perform retail math, cash handling, and basic math calculations accurately.
- Familiarity with the food industry, hospitality standards, brewing processes, catering operations, and food service protocols.
