The Country Club of Virginia has proudly unveiled its newly renovated, state-of-the-art James River Clubhouse & Tally Restaurant. To support this new outlet, CCV is seeking experienced and service-focused Food Runners to join its Food & Beverage operations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a premier hospitality operation in its first year open!
Schedule:
Part-time, 3-5 shifts a week, approximately 15-25 hours per week
Tuesday-Friday: 4:00 PM-11:00 PM
Saturday-Sunday: 10:00AM-5:00PM or 4:00PM-11:00PM
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver food efficiently and accurately from kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper plate placement and presentation standards

Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and culinary staff to ensure smooth service flow

Support the expo line by organizing and checking orders before they are run to guests

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and expediting stations

Respond quickly and professionally to server or guest requests during service

Ensure guest satisfaction by handling plates with care and urgency
Qualifications:

Prior experience as a food runner, busser, or in a support role in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred

Strong communication and coordination skills

High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
