About the Role:
This role focuses on designing and leading safe, effective, and engaging fitness programs for senior and active adult members. The ideal candidate has a passion for improving quality of life through movement, strength, and balance — creating a positive, motivating experience for each participant. Primary training hours will align with prime-time demand: 7:00 AM –12:00 PM and 3:00 PM –6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver personalized fitness programs for older adults, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility

Lead small group training sessions and one-on-one personal training tailored to members’ individual needs and goals

Conduct fitness assessments and track progress with professionalism and care

Ensure all sessions follow safety standards and proper exercise techniques

Collaborate with the Wellness Manager to enhance wellness offerings, workshops, and special programs for the active aging population

Build strong relationships with members to encourage engagement and consistency

Maintain a clean, welcoming, and inclusive environment in all fitness areas
Qualifications

Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized organization (NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent)

Active CPR/AED certification

Specialized certification or experience in Active Aging, Senior Fitness, Functional Training, or Corrective Exercise preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to motivate, encourage, and support members of all fitness levels

Previous experience in a country club, wellness center, or hospitality setting is a plus
