The Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes Counties is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insight for our leadership team.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the general ledger and all reconciliations
- Prepare budgets, financial statements, and reports for leadership & board
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and grant requirements
- Oversee payroll and assist with audits
- Collaborate with leadership on forecasting and planning
What We’re Looking For:
- Nonprofit accounting experience (Sage Software a plus)
- Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and reporting skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to translate numbers into insight
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Sage Accounting Software or similar systems.
- Strong skills in general ledger management, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Registered Notary in the State of Ohio a plus.
Full-time (30 hours/week) Benefits:
