The Counseling Center of Wayne & Holmes Counties is the regional Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) provider for Ashland, Richland, Wayne and Holmes Counties!!
Our partner agency in Ashland County, Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, is seeking a licensed therapist interested in MOBILE YOUTH CRISIS SERVICES to join their outstanding, dedicated team.
Make a Difference When Families Need It Most!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver immediate, community-based support
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, assessment, and support to youth and their families
- Help families develop safety plans and identify resources to support their needs
- Provide follow-up and stabilization services to help prevent future crises
- Collaborate with families, schools, community providers, and other professionals involved in the youth’s care
- Assist with reducing barriers to treatment and service access
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate, timely records
- Ability to build rapport quickly with youth and families
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current Ohio licensure as LPC, LPCC, LSW, or LISW
- Valid Ohio driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
- Ability to travel throughout Ashland county
- Successful completion of background check, driving record check, and drug screening
- Commitment to advocacy, ethical practice, and high-quality client care
