Job Summary:
The Youth Clubhouse Coordinator oversees the daily operation of CAPE's youth clubhouse program, creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for youth and young adults. The Coordinator develops and facilitates programs and activities, promotes membership growth, manages clubhouse operations, supervises staff and volunteers, and fosters partnerships that support positive youth development and community engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily clubhouse operations and activities.
- Develop and facilitate educational, recreational, and life-skills programs for youth.
- Ensure compliance with clubhouse policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain records, track program data, and prepare required reports.
- Supervise staff and volunteers and ensure adequate program coverage.
- Maintain positive relationships with members, families, schools, and community partners.
- Represent the clubhouse to schools, organizations, and community partners.
- Support outreach efforts through social media, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Develop partnerships that provide youth with educational, volunteer, career, and community opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Youth Development, Education, Human Services, Recreation, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with youth in educational, recreational, or community-based programs required.
- Experience with marketing, social media, websites, or graphic design preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Justice Center, NYS Department of Education, and NYS OASAS background clearance required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Youth Mental Health First Aid, CPR/First Aid, and Mandated Reporter certifications

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day, evening, and occasional weekend hours as required
