What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Clubhouse?
We’re looking for an experienced bartender with a great attitude to join our team. Game days here get packed — we need someone who thrives behind a busy bar and keeps the energy up when it’s 10 deep. We also need someone who’s just as happy behind the bar on a quiet Monday afternoon, ready to chat with regulars and keep things running smoothly.
Duties
- Mix and pour drinks quickly and accurately during high-volume game-day rushes
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and ready to go before every shift
- Serve responsibly
- Build relationships with regulars and make new customers feel welcome
- Work well with kitchen and floor staff to keep service moving
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Stay cool under pressure without losing the good vibes
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Manage Square POS
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and exciting
- Handle cash register operations, process payments, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and create memorable experiences
- Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices, RBS/TIPS certification required
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $22.75 - $27.40 per hour
