Janitorial Lead Supervisor

Individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.Position Summary:The Lead Supervisor supports the Operations Manager and oversees site supervisors across multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring janitorial services meet quality, safety, and contractual standards. The Lead Supervisor provides leadership, accountability, training, and hands-on support as needed.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and support site supervisors across assigned locationsAddress performance issues promptly and follow up to ensure corrective actionAssist the Operations Manager with daily operations and special assignmentsConduct regular inspections of janitorial work areasReview and verify supervisors’ inspections and performance assessmentsEnsure established procedures, policies, and safety protocols are understood and consistently followedInspect equipment to ensure it is safe, properly maintained, and in good working conditionProvide training to janitors and supervisors on cleaning standards, procedures, and safety requirementsServe as a hands-on cleaner and trainer when needed to demonstrate proper techniquesEnsure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirementsSchedule & Flexibility:Must be flexible with work locationsSome later evening hours required approximately 1–2 times per monthQualifications:Demonstrated commitment to our mission to create employment opportunities for people with disabilitiesValid driver’s license requiredAbility to travel between multiple locationsStrong leadership, supervision, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of janitorial operations, equipment, and safety standardsAbility to train, coach, and mentor both supervisors and frontline staffWillingness to be hands-on and lead by example3 - 5 years of experience supervising teams in building services or related industry Must be comfortable using technology and learning new systems. Ability to support team members with managing technology.
