Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise sheet metal crews on commercial and industrial HVAC projects
- Perform hands-on installation of HVAC ductwork and related sheet metal systems
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
- Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, other foremen, and trades
- Ensure productivity, quality, and workmanship meet company standards
- Enforce jobsite safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Plan daily work activities, crew assignments, and material needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues in real time to keep projects on schedule
- Train and mentor crew members, setting expectations for professionalism and performance
- Communicate progress, issues, and material needs clearly to leadership
- 3 years of experience in commercial sheet metal or HVAC installation preferred
- Proven experience leading crews or acting as a foreman or lead installer
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and sheet metal practices
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and scopes of work
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High level of accountability, work ethic, and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Willingness to travel as required for project locations
- No formal education or licenses required
- $32 – $38 per hour, based on experience
