How You Will Make An Impact
- Formulate comprehensive project estimates by thoroughly analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals.
- Quantify detailed material, labor, and equipment requirements to ensure highly accurate cost projections.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor bids to secure competitive pricing and ensure complete scope coverage.
- Conduct risk assessments on project documents to identify potential budget variances or missing details.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to develop value engineering solutions that optimize budgets.
- Maintain an organized database of historical cost data, vendor pricing, and local market trends.
- Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar commercial project estimates from start to finish.
- Deep financial acumen paired with extensive experience in construction cost tracking and material takeoffs.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed architectural drawings, engineering specifications, and schedules.
- Advanced knowledge of construction estimating software, AutoDesk Build, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing vendor relationships and bid dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated experience estimating high-profile hospitality sites, gaming centers, or high-end tenant improvements.
- Completion of specialized training in construction forecasting, cost control, or value engineering.
