How You Will Make an Impact
- Execute prompt, technical sales service for counter and phone customers to maximize local market share.
- Formulate accurate and timely job quotations to directly support outside sales initiatives and client project timelines.
- Analyze inventory availability, product specifications, and technical applications to recommend optimal equipment solutions.
- Coordinate complex orders with warehouse and shipping teams to guarantee seamless, accurate logistics fulfillment.
- Implement targeted sales promotions and volume incentives to consistently increase average order value.
- Resolve technical product inquiries and real-time client complaints to maintain unmatched customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer service areas, inventory cataloging, and precise cash box reconciliations according to company standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education and technical experience within the HVAC distribution industry sufficient to handle immediate sales demands.
- Proven ability to interpret technical HVAC product applications, material substitutions, and job specifications.
- Proficiency in operating computerized ERP inventory systems to process sales quotes and track transaction data.
- Demonstrated competency in managing retail mathematical calculations and statistical accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Strong physical capability to safely lift, carry, and handle warehouse materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within inside sales, counter operations, or HVAC distribution.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior completion of manufacturer technical training or industry-specific safety programs.
- Demonstrated experience using web-based distribution software and advanced e-commerce platforms.
- Active forklift certification or the proven capability to safely operate warehouse material handling equipment.
