How You Will Make An Impact
- Produce highly detailed AutoCAD shop drawings for complex curtain wall, storefront, and architectural metal systems.
- Manage the full lifecycle of submittal packages from initial creation through final architectural approval.
- Coordinate technical requirements with architects, structural engineers, and general contractors to ensure design fidelity.
- Develop comprehensive Bills of Material (BOM) to streamline accurate fabrication and material purchasing.
- Translate architectural and structural plans into actionable field and shop documentation to prevent project delays.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction drafting or project engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD with a proven ability to interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
- Demonstrated understanding of how glazing or facade systems are coordinated, fabricated, and installed.
- Strong organizational skills necessary for managing multi-phase project documentation and strict deadlines.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Direct experience with Division 8 glazing systems, including curtain wall and storefront assemblies.
- Proven background working within a fabrication-based contractor environment.
