The Contractor Consultants is now accepting applications for an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to join a highly respected, family-owned electrical and underground utility contractor. This role is ideal for someone with prior project management experience in construction, or a degree in Construction Management or Engineering looking to step into a leadership role.
As a Construction Project Manager, youâll oversee project planning, resource management, and coordination with crews and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery across a variety of infrastructure projectsâincluding street lighting, traffic signals, fiber optics, and underground utilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day project execution from start to finish
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and documentation
- Schedule inspections, manage change orders, and track job costs
- Review contracts, submittals, and work plans for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure all safety standards and regulations are met or exceeded
- Participate in job site walks and quality control reviews
- Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and internal teams
- Communicate project updates and status to leadership regularly
- Bachelorâs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field â OR equivalent field experience
- 2 years of relevant project management in Heavy Highway Construction, is experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction practices, scheduling, and permitting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Tech-savvy â ability to use project management and scheduling software
- Valid driverâs license required
