How You Will Make An Impact
- Formulate comprehensive project budgets and competitive bids for civil, industrial, and federal site development infrastructure.
- Analyze complex engineering blueprints, geotechnical reports, and site specifications to identify precise project material quantities.
- Compute detailed material, labor, equipment, and logistical cost structures utilizing advanced civil construction estimation platforms.
- Coordinate directly with general contractors, project developers, and vendor networks to secure optimal material and subcontract pricing.
- Mitigate financial risks by identifying technical ambiguities or discrepancies within construction bid documents prior to submission.
- Maintain structured, accurate historical bidding logs and estimation databases to support long-term company forecasting efforts.
- Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience estimating civil construction, heavy earthwork, and infrastructure projects.
- Proven proficiency in interpreting detailed engineering schematics, topographical drawings, and public works specifications.
- Strong technical capability in quantitative material takeoffs and commercial construction software workflows.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal oversight to meet strict bid submission deadlines.
- Advanced technical training or industry certifications related to heavy civil estimating and construction management.
- Background in evaluating and estimating complex municipal utilities, grading, and federal site development layouts.
- History of establishing profitable, long-term working relationships with regional general contractors and private developers.
