Job Purpose/Description
The Multicultural Leadership Orientation (MLO) Student Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Associate Director of the Office of Multicultural Student Services (MSS) in the creation, planning, and implementation of the MLO program from Summer Orientation to MLO Mentor Training to MLO Week.

The Multicultural Leadership Orientation (MLO) Student Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Associate Director of the Office of Multicultural Student Services (MSS) in the creation, planning, and implementation of the MLO program from Summer Orientation to MLO Mentor Training to MLO Week.
Job Duties
- This person will be responsible for the following, as well as other tasks as needed:
- Representing the MLO program
- Reaching out to incoming students
- Assisting with the creation of the program
- Assisting with the creation and implementation of Mentor Training
- Creating marketing materials for the program
- Buying MLO materials, following the office budget
- Must be a current CSS student who is registered for the 2026-2027 school year
- Federal work study eligibility is required
- Experience with MLO
- Experience working and/or volunteering with the Center for Just Living (CJL)
- Experience as a board member in CJL Clubs
- Held other leadership positions on campus
- Must be available to assist with Summer Orientation and throughout the summer
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or above
- Previous paid work experience
