Creative Marketing Manager

San Diego, CA — Hybrid

We're looking for a strategic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the San Diego area. You'll lead creative and strategic work across a diverse portfolio of client accounts — shaping campaigns, guiding brand storytelling, and building the kind of client relationships that turn projects into long-term partnerships.

This role is a fit for someone who thinks big-picture, sweats the details, and genuinely enjoys both the creative and the operational sides of marketing.

What You'll Do

• Develop and shape creative concepts and marketing strategies across a range of client accounts and channels
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients — building trust, managing expectations, and keeping relationships strong and communicative
• Translate client goals into clear, actionable campaign plans and creative briefs
• Guide brand voice and messaging to ensure consistency and quality across every deliverable
• Manage project timelines, workflows, and team coordination to keep work on track and on budget
• Collaborate with designers, writers, and senior staff to bring campaigns to life
• Contribute to new business pitches, creative brainstorms, and proposals
• Oversee content calendars and channel planning (social included) as part of broader campaign execution
• Track performance, draw insights, and present results in clear, client-ready reporting

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in marketing, with a mix of creative and strategic responsibilities
• Proven ability to manage client relationships with professionalism, tact, and confidence
• Strong creative instincts paired with strong organizational and project-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a polished client-facing presence
• Comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of marketing principles across channels — digital, social, content, and brand
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience with project-management and marketing tools (e.g., Basecamp, Meta, Sprout Social) is a plus
• Familiarity with creative tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a bonus

Location & Compensation

This position is based in the San Diego, CA area, with a hybrid schedule that blends remote flexibility with occasional in-person collaboration.

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Full-time, hybrid schedule, with growth opportunities within a collaborative, close-knit agency team.
