About:

Solid State Marketing is a fast-growing PR and marketing agency specializing in hospitality, nightlife, and lifestyle brands. We work with some of the most recognizable venues on the West Coast, including concepts like Randy’s Donuts, Hideaway Pacific Beach, Tower 12, Palmilla Cocina y Tequila, and Waterfront Bar, among others.


From high-volume restaurants to nightlife venues and large-scale activations, our focus is building brands through content, PR, influencer marketing, and experiential events.


Role Overview:

This is a high-ownership, fast-paced role for someone who thrives in execution and leadership. You’ll oversee marketing efforts across multiple client accounts- ensuring campaigns are organized, content is delivered, and results are consistently improving.


You’ll work directly with leadership, manage team members (including VAs and creatives), and play a key role in scaling both our clients and the agency.\


Key Responsibilities:

Account & Campaign Management

  • Oversee day-to-day marketing execution across multiple client accounts
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and campaign performance
  • Ensure all initiatives are tracked, organized, and completed on time

Content & Social Media Strategy

  • Lead content direction across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Coordinate shoots, manage content calendars, and oversee posting
  • Work with editors and VAs to ensure content is delivered and distributed properly

Influencer & PR Coordination

  • Manage influencer outreach, bookings, and deliverables
  • Set clear expectations and ensure strong ROI on collaborations
  • Support PR initiatives including media outreach and activations

Team Leadership & Delegation

  • Manage and delegate tasks to internal team members and VAs
  • Provide clear direction to eliminate inefficiencies and back-and-forth
  • Maintain accountability across all projects

Events & Activations

  • Assist in planning and executing events, launches, and promotional activations
  • Support marketing around key dates (holidays, openings, major weekends)

Performance & Reporting

  • Track KPIs across campaigns (engagement, reach, conversions, traffic)
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement



What we're looking for:

  • 5 years in marketing, social media, or agency experience
  • Strong understanding of hospitality/nightlife marketing (preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects without things slipping
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience managing content teams, freelancers, or VAs
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
  • Solutions-oriented mindset
  • Influencer campaign experience
  • PR/media outreach
  • Paid ads knowledge (Meta, Google)
  • Event marketing experience
  • Strong creative eye for content



Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Marketing Strategy, Campaign Management, and Performance Analysis
  • Expertise in Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, and Email Marketing
  • Skills in Brand Development, Reputation Management, and Building Customer Relationships
  • Familiarity with Digital Advertising, SEO, and Analytics Tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with Graphic Design, Video Production, and Multimedia Campaigns is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
