About the Role

We are seeking an experienced in-house Bookkeeper / Accounting professional for real

estate development firm.

This role is highly detail-oriented and requires someone comfortable maintaining clean,

accurate, and audit-ready books. You will be responsible for ensuring full financial

visibility across development projects, ownership entities, and community operations.

Key Responsibilities

 Oversee all accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and

tracking

 Track and manage tenant rent collections, rent increases, and lease terms

 Monitor and reconcile triple net (NNN) expenses, including allocations and tenant

billing

 Perform CAM reconciliations, including annual true-ups and tenant chargebacks

 Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions

 Produce monthly financial statements by entity and project

 Coordinate with external CPA for tax preparation and compliance

 Monitor HOA/POA financial performance, including dues collections, operating

expenses, reserve balances, and delinquent account tracking

Qualifications

 4 years of accounting experience (real estate, construction, or property

management strongly preferred)

 Experience and understanding of general accounting procedures with multi-entity

accounting

 Understanding of HOA/POA accounting and financial operations preferred

 Experience with tenant rent tracking, NNN structures, and CAM reconciliations

 Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel

 Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay: $20.00 - $30.47 per hour
