Restaurant Back Server

The Club at Las Campanas, a premier private country club in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is seeking a motivated, dependable, and service-oriented Restaurant Back Server (Server Assistant) to join our Food & Beverage team.

As a Restaurant Back Server, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. Working alongside our Servers, Restaurant Captains, Bartenders, and Culinary team, you will help ensure smooth, efficient, and attentive service in an upscale dining environment.

• Assist Servers and Restaurant Captains in providing attentive, professional, and efficient dining service.

• Prepare dining areas by setting tables, arranging linens, polishing glassware and silverware, and ensuring service areas are ready for guests.

• Deliver food, refill water, provide bread service, clear dishes, and reset tables promptly.

• Anticipate the needs of members, guests, and fellow team members to ensure a seamless dining experience.

• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked dining rooms and service stations.

• Assist with food running and communicate effectively with Servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

• Learn menu offerings, daily specials, ingredients, and service standards to better assist the team.

• Assist with setting up, serving, and breaking down banquets, private events, and special functions.

• Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold The Club at Las Campanas' high standards of hospitality.

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

• Experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, hotels, or private clubs is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent guest service.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and anticipate service needs.

• Food Handler certification as required by applicable regulations or Club policy.

• Alcohol Server certification if assigned beverage-service responsibilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform other physical tasks associated with restaurant service.

• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
