Safety & Security Coordinator (Full Time Position)

We’re looking for a full-time Safety & Security Coordinator who is as comfortable walking our facility as they are working in Excel, Outlook, and other digital tools. This role is the backbone of our Safety & Security operations, supporting planning, training, documentation, and communication, all while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as a professional, friendly presence for visitors while supporting a secure environment.
- Assist with developing and refining training programs, safety drills, and certification schedules.
- Build and maintain the risk register—tracking potential risks, action plans, and responsible parties.
- Ensure proper and timely documentation of incidents, including follow-up communication and report preparation.
- Monitor facility activity, access control, and CCTV systems; identify risks and suggest improvements.
- Manage scheduling for security personnel and ensure they’re up to date on safety protocols and procedures.
- Track packages, materials, logs, and other operational details that support a safe, organized facility.
- Support budgeting, administrative projects, and efforts to improve efficiency.
- Provide assistance during emergencies and serve as a House Guard when required.

- Working in a mix of office-based administrative work and on-site facility monitoring
- Using computer systems confidently—especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and CCTV platforms
- Managing details, documentation, scheduling, and follow-through
- Being dependable, observant, and proactive with safety
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining strong boundaries
- Proficiency with Windows computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), phone systems, and fire alarm systems
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well on a team
- Ability to walk the facility regularly and lift up to 25 lbs
