Frontline Supervisor

The Classic Center Authority is seeking a Frontline Supervisor to oversee event setup and housekeeping teams at The Classic Center. This role is ideal for a hands‑on supervisor who enjoys managing people, solving problems in real time, and ensuring event spaces are safe, clean, and event‑ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise event setup, breakdown, and housekeeping staff
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during assigned events
- Follow Event Planning Sheets (EPS) to coordinate staffing, equipment, and timelines
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move staging, seating, and materials
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper egress in all public and back‑of‑house areas
- Enforce safety policies and report facility or equipment issues
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and fellow supervisors
- Maintain organized storage areas and promote efficient use of resources
- Event‑driven schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility required based on event needs
- Support high‑profile events in a premier arena and convention complex
- Work in a practical, team‑focused operations environment
- Every event is different—no routine days
- Customer‑service mindset with a focus on teamwork and professionalism
- Supervisory experience in a venue, hospitality, or operations environment preferred but not required
- Strong organization and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
