Part-Time Dining Assistant (Every weekend 10:30am-6:30pm)

We’re seeking a compassionate and reliable Dining Assistant Lead to support our memory care community during dinner service. This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, works well in a team, and brings positivity to every shift.

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 10:30am–6:30pm
• Rotation of Holidays

Responsibilities:

• Serve meals to Memory Care residents in a timely, friendly, and respectful manner
• Prepare mechanical soft, pureed diet along with thickened liquids
• Work with Medication Assistant for diabetic meal requirements
• Ensure dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and stored properly
• Follow all sanitation and infection control procedures
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Memory Care and the main kitchen team
• Help create a warm, home-like dining atmosphere that supports residents’ comfort and dignity
• Communicate with the main kitchen regarding meal substitutions, or special requests
• Maintain a clean, organized Memory Care dining room and kitchenette
• Ensure each resident receives the correct meal, plate setup, utensils, and beverages based on their preferences and needs
• Monitor and support residents during meals to ensure adequate intake and help as needed

Qualifications:

• Friendly, patient, and dependable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in food service or senior care is a plus—but not required
