For 115 years, God has been using The City Mission to reach hearts and transform lives, especially among the most vulnerable in our community. We invite men, women, and children experiencing homelessness to participate in holistic, gospel-centered programs designed to address spiritual, emotional, relational, and practical needs. Residents engage in chapel services, case management, life-skills coursework, workforce development, and other programs that equip them for lasting stability and independence.
As staff, we are City Missionaries offering help and hope to all people through the transforming power of God’s love.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in working with children (preferred)
- Eager to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally
- Comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people
- An effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and volunteers
- Patient, compassionate, and understanding when working with children and supporting families
- Able to remain calm, flexible, and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for children and families
- Passionate about Christian ministry and community impact
