Position Summary:
Assists with delivering pastoral care and promoting spiritual wellbeing to TCM’s program residents.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.
Essential Job Functions:
• Assist in preparation and participation of chapel and classes.
• Assist ministering to program residents’ spiritual needs by providing spiritual direction, biblical counsel, and prayer support.
• Assist in developing church and community-wide contacts.
• Assist in building healthy relationships with program staff and residents.
• Assist with Good Soil assessments.
Skills/Abilities (required unless noted):
- A comfortable and thorough knowledge of Bible, Gospel, and Discipleship principles
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; public speaking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient computer skills.
