Position Summary:
The intern will be engaged in a well-rounded experience of the many facets of a non-profit organization. He/she will assist with the development and implementation of programming and organizational operations by maintaining program systems for both women and children.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides practical support in programming, casework, workforce development, resident assistant area, and administrative duties as directed
- Assists Administrative Staff with daily tasks and programming
- Perform data entry and assist in tracking resident progress towards fulfillment of goals
- Assist in coordinating special resident events and activities
- Complete special project assignments as needed
- Works with supervisor on leadership initiatives
Skills/Abilities (required unless noted):
· Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
· Ability to work in different areas of programming
· Ability to schedule, plan and multi-task
