Medicaid Billing Specialist -- Hybrid (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking a Medicaid Billing Specialist to help continue our legacy of making a lasting impact in the lives of young people.

Position Summary

The Medicaid Billing Specialist will report to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for billing Medicaid for applicable services and for processing payments to various providers. The Medicaid Billing Specialist is also responsible for ensuring that all requests for payments and payments received are accurate.

Qualifications

Minimum: 

• A minimum of two years experience in Medicaid administration or finance; experience in a non-profit child welfare Agency is desirable.
• High School Diploma supplemented by in service training courses in software applications; an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid regulations and procedures governing payments to providers. 
• Working knowledge of Medicaid coding and compliance.
