About the Role:
The Chesapeake is seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Assisted Living Administrator to oversee our Assisted Living (AL) and Memory Support (MS) neighborhoods. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and a resident-centered approach while supporting our team of professionals and enhancing the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of Assisted Living and Memory Support neighborhoods

Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards

Supervise AL Nurse Manager, Memory Care Manager, and direct care staff

Develop and implement individualized service plans (ISP) and care strategies

Maintain resident satisfaction through communication and personalized support

Lead staffing, training, and performance evaluations
-
Collaborate with health services, wellness, and nursing departments
-
Ensure fiscal accountability within department budgets

Conduct regular rounds and monitor care delivery and safety
-
Lead or participate in audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement efforts
Required Qualifications:

Licensed in Virginia as an Assisted Living Administrator or approved AIT

Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) (or ability to obtain within 4 months)

ISP Trainer Certification (or ability to obtain within 2 months)

Uniform Assessment Instrument (UAI) Certification (or ability to obtain within 2 months)

CPR Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

In-depth knowledge of Virginia AL regulations and best practices
