About the Position
The Centennial Hotel, a 32-room boutique hotel in Concord, is looking for a dependable and responsible Part-Time Night Auditor / Overnight Front Desk Associate.
This is a good position for someone who enjoys a quiet overnight work environment, working independently, and helping guests when needed.
The overnight shift is generally calm. Your primary responsibilities will be assisting with late check-ins and occasional guest requests, answering the phone, monitoring the property, and completing the hotel's end-of-day/night audit process.
During quieter periods, you will also complete a small number of routine hotel and front-desk tasks to help prepare the property for the following day.
No previous hotel or night-audit experience is required. We will train the right person.
We are initially looking for someone to work approximately 2–3 overnight shifts per week, with the opportunity to gradually take on additional days and hours based on availability, reliability, and hotel needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional service to overnight guests
- Handle late-night guest check-ins and early check-outs
- Respond to occasional guest questions and requests
- Answer hotel telephone calls
- Complete the hotel's nightly audit and end-of-day procedures
- Review reservations and basic guest account information for accuracy
- Monitor the front desk and hotel during overnight hours
- Complete simple administrative and operational tasks during quieter periods
- Prepare basic information and notes for the morning team
- Report unusual incidents, maintenance concerns, or guest issues to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-desk area
Who We're Looking For
Hotel experience is helpful, but reliability and attitude are more important to us than previous experience.
The right candidate should:
- Be dependable and consistently arrive on time
- Be comfortable working independently overnight
- Be comfortable using a computer and learning new software
- Have good communication and customer-service skills
- Be organized and able to follow written procedures
- Have good judgment when handling occasional guest issues
- Be comfortable completing routine tasks independently during slower periods
- Be available for overnight shifts, including some weekends and holidays

$13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on experience and training.
