About the Position
The Centennial Hotel, a 32-room boutique hotel in Concord, is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team.
This is a part-time position with hours based on hotel occupancy and room-cleaning needs. Most work takes place during daytime hours after guests check out.
We are a smaller boutique property, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little details, and can help us maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming guestrooms.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guestrooms following guest departures
- Refresh rooms for guests staying multiple nights
- Make beds and replace linens
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, and vanities
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust furniture, fixtures, lamps, baseboards, and other surfaces
- Replace towels and replenish guest amenities
- Empty trash and remove used linens
- Check rooms for missing, damaged, or maintenance-related items
- Report maintenance concerns to the appropriate team member
- Help with laundry and linen organization when needed
- Assist with cleaning hallways and other hotel areas as needed
- Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining our cleanliness standards
What We're Looking For
Previous hotel housekeeping experience is helpful, but we are willing to train someone who is dependable and takes pride in doing a thorough job.
The right candidate should:
- Be reliable and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Have strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Be able to work independently after training
- Be comfortable with the physical requirements of housekeeping, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting
- Be able to work efficiently without sacrificing room quality
- Work well with other housekeeping and front-desk team members
- Be respectful and professional around hotel guests
- Be available for some weekend and holiday shifts as hotel occupancy requires
Pay & Schedule
$15.00–$16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a part-time position, and weekly hours may vary depending on hotel occupancy and business levels. There may be opportunities for additional hours during busier periods.
Typical housekeeping work is performed during the daytime, beginning in the morning and continuing until assigned rooms are completed.
