What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Security Administrator position at The CCS Companies?
The IT Security Administrator is a designated security position and reports to the Information Security Systems Manager. The IT Security Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining controls that support and enhance the Information Security Program. The IT Security Administrator will also assist in maintaining system inventories and perform regular Audits to ensure accuracy and be heavily involved in Industry Standard Compliance Audits.

- Performs regular security checks to confirm all aspects of the Information Security program are compliant with the IS Program.
- Tracks all security checks, document said checks and report the results to Management.
- Remediates any issues or escalate to the appropriate resource for remediation, tracking issues to closure.
- Completes assigned tasks in ticketing and GRC tracking platforms to support industry standard compliance audits.
- Assists with responding to, and gathering, evidence related to security questionnaires from clients and vendors.
- Performs, documents and reports results of regular IT systems security checks.
- Maintains and publishes system inventories regularly.
- Performs log monitoring and respond appropriately and in a timely fashion
- Performs baseline checks and monitor for configuration changes using PCI, HIPPA, and NIST Standards
- Maintain heavy involvement in projects with minimal supervision.
- Other duties may be assigned as required by business needs.
- Ability to maintain a consistent and regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule.
- Ability to work onsite/in-office and in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.
- Requires 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in an Information Security related role.
- Requires thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
- Requires knowledge of PCI, ISO 27001 and HITRUST controls.
- Requires knowledge of NIST standards.
- Requires ability to work effectively as a team member, collaborating, contributing and cooperating with IT team members.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
- Able to operate under minimal supervision and work with other staff members, peers and business partners on projects to maintain technical infrastructure systems, policies and procedures.
- Able to work a consistent full time schedule Monday – Friday with a flexible start time if needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
Salary : $70,000 - $77,000
