Position Summary
The position supports the day-to-day operations and reporting of perpetual capital fund, including related SEC reporting requirements under the ’34 Act, as well as any other assigned funds.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, liaising with third party administrators, transfer agents, custodians and depositaries, if applicable, tracking of fund activity, including upcoming purchase and sale transactions, and coordinating the operations and reporting of such activity, including the reporting obligations with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). This includes:
Communicating the timing and details of transactions
Preparing analysis of accounting treatment of transactions under U.S. GAAP and drafting relevant disclosures.
Preparing / reviewing documentation that supports internal processes, audit or other requirements.
Preparing / reviewing Annual and Quarterly Reports on Form 10-K and 10-Q, Current Reports on Form 8-K and other relevant regulatory reporting and filing these reports with the SEC according to the required regulatory timelines.
Liaises with key stakeholders, including Fund Management, Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting, External Auditors, and Internal Audit. The Senior Accountant develops knowledge of systems and processes and contributes to improvements.
This position supports the implementation of Investor Services-wide goals and initiatives, including system implementations and business process re-engineering efforts.
Responsibilities
Support the SEC reporting required for a perpetual capital fund pursuant to the ’34 Act, and any other internal or external reporting needs, including:
Prepare / review materials in collaboration with third party administrators to support monthly NAV used to price share transactions for perpetual capital fund, including calculation of NAV, management fees, and incentive fees, as well as the related Current Report on Form 8-K.
Preparing / reviewing Annual and Quarterly Reports on Form 10-K and 10-Q, Current Reports on Form 8-K and other relevant regulatory reporting and filing these reports with the SEC according to the required regulatory timelines, including the preparation/review of disclosures
Facilitate cash movement through legal entity structures for deal activity and other fund activities in coordination with Fund Management and Corporate Accounting.
Support investment transaction testing with external and internal auditors and relevant disclosures in the annual audit of the fund’s financial statements.
Work with Internal Audit to document policies and procedures for internal controls.
Prepare analysis and provide performance metrics, as requested.
Assist in monitoring legal compliance with various fund agreements and arrangements, including credit facilities as applicable.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, develop and implement solutions.
Participate in initiatives that help the department and firm meet strategy and goals.
Qualifications
Education & Certificates
Bachelor’s Degree, required
Accounting or Finance major, or relevant experience in financial services and / or fund administration combined with a major in another field, required
CPA strongly preferred
Professional Experience
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant public accounting or private accounting experience, required. Experience with SEC reporting, a plus.
Review experience with, and working knowledge of, U.S. GAAP financial reporting required

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to DC and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $115,000.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
