Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely delivery
• Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including daily specials and wine pairings, to provide expert guidance to guests

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cash handling
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation
• Excellent communication skills combined with basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced hospitality environment
