Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bartenders and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee beverage preparation, presentation, and serving standards to deliver top-tier customer experiences
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain proper food safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with health regulations
- Train new staff on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with proper serving techniques and food handling procedures
- Handle cashing out customers, processing payments accurately using POS systems, and managing cash handling procedures
- Monitor customer interactions to ensure excellent customer service, resolve any issues promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for catering, banquet events, or nightclub services to ensure seamless service delivery
- Implement sales strategies to increase revenue through upselling beverages and promoting specials
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles with a focus on beverage management
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and alcohol serving regulations
- Experience managing inventory, cash handling, and retail math calculations accurately
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Background in catering or banquet service is a plus
