The Butcher’s Daughter is coming to Austin, and we’re building our opening team!

The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-forward restaurant, café, and juice bar known for vibrant, seasonal food, thoughtful hospitality, and spaces designed to bring people together. With locations in Los Angeles and New York, we’re excited to bring The Butcher’s Daughter to South Congress in Austin.

We’re looking for energetic, hardworking, and hospitality-driven Back Servers / Bussers to join our opening team.

Our Back Servers / Bussers are an essential part of the service team, helping our Servers and Bartenders deliver a smooth and memorable experience for every guest.

We’re looking for people who are fast, organized, observant, and team-oriented. You should be comfortable working in a busy restaurant and take pride in anticipating what your teammates and guests need before they have to ask.

• Support Servers throughout service to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently
• Maintain water service and assist with table maintenance
• Run food and beverages to tables as needed
• Assist Servers with guest requests and anticipate table needs
• Keep service stations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties
• Communicate clearly with Servers, Hosts, Bartenders, Kitchen, and Management
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Experience in a busy or high-volume restaurant is a plus
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Ability to stay organized and aware during busy service
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to be on your feet and active throughout the shift
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Excited to learn, grow, and be part of a new restaurant opening

We’re hosting an Open Call every Wednesday from 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM

** This is for a new location. We are expected to open at the beginning of October, but opening dates may vary. We will need flexibility and availability two weeks before our opening date for training.
