Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for food and beverages using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest experience
- Manage cash handling, billing, and POS transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy
- Assist with food service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong cocktail crafting skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and bar orders efficiently
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development, wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer trends
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing
- Experience in food safety practices, food handling, and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality setting with a team-oriented attitude
